The Green for Growth Fund is a special financial instrument of the European Union, in particular for the European Neighborhood Policy of the European Commission, which aims to improve energy efficiency and renewable energy sources in the partner countries by providing funding to financial institutions. The fund provides funding to Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova and Ukraine.

Basisbank has been working with the Foundation since 2018 and has already managed to save 5,337 MWh of energy and 1,690 tons/year of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions as part of jointly implemented projects.

One of the advantages of the GGF product should be the approach that the fund finances not only the creation of new green businesses, but also the re-equipment of existing businesses to achieve better energy efficiency.

Additionally, you will be able to participate in the Foundation Grants Program, which, together with our qualified team, will involve local and, if you want, international experts to improve the energy efficiency of your project or business, who, based on your wishes and business interests, will develop an energy efficiency strategy and action plan for the entire project or a specific component. Each program participant is eligible to receive up to $10,000 funding the expert engagement.
