From December 23, 2024, the following changes and additions will be made to the terms of the Mego credit card (referred to as the credit card):

New Financial Cost: An annual service fee of 50 GEL will be introduced (hereinafter referred to as the fee). The fee will be applied under the following conditions:
 

• The fee is paid in advance for the upcoming year.
• The customer must pay the fee immediately after the credit card is issued, regardless of whether the approved credit limit or the credit card is used. For subsequent periods, the fee will be charged on the first day of the calendar month following the end of each one-year period after the card's issuance (if this date falls on a non-banking day, the fee will be charged on the next banking day). However, this fee will not apply to the periods of card use that have already begun or ended before the effective date of these changes.

Example: If your credit card was issued on June 1, 2023, and the card's validity is four years, you will be required to pay the first fee on July 1, 2025. This fee will cover the period from June 1, 2025, to June 1, 2026. The next payment will be due on July 1, 2026, and so on, until the end of the card's validity period.

• The bank reserves the right, without further consent from the client, to deduct the unpaid fee from the available credit limit. If there are insufficient funds to cover the fee, a debt for the unpaid fee will be created, and the fee will be deducted as soon as any positive balance is detected in the customer’s credit card account.
   

Updated Transaction Rates: The rates for credit card transactions will also change, as specified:
 

• Credit limit transfer fee: 3.5% (three and a half percent) of the amount transferred, but not less than 5 (five) GEL.
• ATM withdrawal fee (applies to both your own funds and the credit limit) at JSC Basisbank ATMs, partner bank ATMs, and Basisbank branches: 3.5% (three and a half percent) of the withdrawn amount, but not less than 5 (five) GEL.

The updated and amended key terms of the agreement will be available from December 23, 2024, in the branches and service centers of JSC Basisbank, as well as through remote service channels (Internet Bank, Mobile Bank). You can also find the updated credit card rates on the website www.bb.ge

The changes described above will take effect on December 23, 2024. However, you have the right to reject these changes and request the cancellation of your credit card at any branch or through any remote service channel of the bank before this date. Please note, this is only possible if you fully repay all obligations arising from the credit card by December 23, 2024, or sign an agreement with the bank to repay these obligations in equal installments.
