As a devoted supporter of Georgian culture, Basisbank proudly continues its partnership with the Sandro Mrevlishvili Tbilisi Municipal Theater.
Within the framework of its general sponsorship, Basisbank has implemented numerous exciting projects, and the upcoming season promises many new and engaging performances for audiences. The collaboration between the bank and the theater aims to promote theatrical art and bring significant joint initiatives to life.
For its 51st season, the Sandro Mrevlishvili Theater has already planned the highly anticipated premiere of After the Rehearsal, based on the work of renowned Swedish theater and film director Ingmar Bergman. The production features two exceptional actors, Marina Kakhiani and Akaki Khidasheli, and is directed by Mikheil Mrevlishvili.
“I am delighted that the partnership between our theater and Basisbank continues and is evolving into a valued tradition. The bank's support is of great importance to us, and it is equally inspiring to see Basisbank actively fostering other creative organizations as well. Culture nurtures successful business, and successful business strengthens culture—together, they shape our lives. I truly enjoy collaborating with the reliable and creative team at Basisbank and wish them continued success,” said Mikheil Mrevlishvili, Artistic Director of the Sandro Mrevlishvili Theater.
"Basisbank, as a financial institution with a strong sense of social responsibility, remains committed to supporting the Sandro Mrevlishvili Theater. Through our general sponsorship, we have planned several meaningful projects, building on the success of past years, during which audiences enjoyed a number of remarkable performances. We strongly believe that business sector engagement in the arts is essential, and I am confident that this year's collaboration will once again be highly productive, contributing to the development of theater and Georgian culture as a whole," said Tamar Khaduri, Head of Strategic Communications and Branding at Basisbank.
As part of its commitment to supporting Georgian culture, Basisbank also serves as the general sponsor of the Kote Marjanishvili Theater, the Union of Puppet Theaters, and the Doll House. Additionally, the bank actively supports various cultural initiatives across the country.
