Basisbank is General Sponsor of the Marjanishvili Theater’s 97th Season

Basisbank continues its partnership with the Kote Marjanishvili State Drama Theater, serving as the general sponsor for the 97th season. As a committed supporter of Georgian culture, Basisbank is sponsoring the theater for the fourth consecutive year, ensuring a season filled with exciting performances and projects.  

Throughout Basisbank's sponsorship, the Marjanishvili Theater has planned multiple premieres for its dedicated audience, along with regional and international tours. On April 5, 2025, the theater will host the premiere of Dario Fo’s play “Don't You Pay Us?! We Won’t Pay You”, directed by Lasha Sherozia. Additional premieres scheduled for the year include the choreographic performance "Carmen", based on Prosper Mérimée’s novel and directed by Gia Marghania, as well as “Mind Games”, a play by Basa Janikashvili, directed by David Chakhrakia.  

Giorgi Margvelashvili, Artistic Director of the Kote Marjanishvili State Drama Theater, emphasized the significance of the partnership: "Basisbank’s support is invaluable to the Marjanishvili Theater. Over the past four years of collaboration, we have successfully staged numerous remarkable performances and projects. We look forward to continuing this partnership and bringing even more captivating productions to our audience."
