Zhang Jun assumed duties of an Executive Chairman of the Supervisory Board in 2012, leading to becoming a Chairman of the Supervisory Board in 2015. 

With an MBA and Professional Certificate of Economist,  Zhang Jun boasts over 3 decades of executive positions in various fields of different Chinese banks, including 7 years of executive supervisory role at Urumqi branch of The People's Bank of China, 5 years as Deputy Director of Chengxin Credit Union of Urumqi, as well as 12-years career with Urumqi City Commercial Bank, serving as Sales Department General Manager, HR Director and Assistant of the Chairman of the Board. 

Before chairing the SB of the Basisbank JSC, Zhang Jun served as the Deputy Director in finance and foreign investments of the largest and the most successful foreign investor in Country - Xinjiang Hualing Trade and Industry (Group) Co. – the parent company of our Bank, the position, that he still maintains. 

With extensive practical experience in the operation and management of commercial banks and the profound and clear view of the strategic development of small and medium-sized commercial banks, Zhang Jun has led Basisbank JSC during its surge to the title of the 4th largest commercial bank in Georgia.
